A little bit about the school program I’m currently enrolled in for my masters:
It is a intensive one year entrepreneurship program where students learn the business skills to profitably launch new innovative, new technology products into the marketplace, either within a corporation or a venture of their own. The program coursework teaches students to hone their entrepreneurial prowess, allowing them to identify and evaluate technologies with market potential, develop and present business plans, and profitably launch innovative products into the market.
The curriculum consists of action-based courses where students develop market strategies for real world technologies and innovations. The program culminates with teams of students formally presenting a final business plan to a panel of faculty, industry leaders, and venture capitalists. Each year graduates launch several technologies into successful commercial ventures.
A quick profile of my team: We are a team of 5 people and passionate enterpreneurs from different work of life currently working on commercializing an insulating paint technlogy and ultimately launching the product into the market sometime next year. One has a background and vast experience in emergency and disaster management, firefighting and medical emergency response disciplines, two others are still active and serving in the US military, one works as a project manager in a big company and the last has a chemistry background with vast knowledge in the export business in the USA.
We work pretty well together with everyone staying focus and also get along well. The project manager guy leads the team and he does a good job at that and very communicative.
