What is the status of the overall industry in the United States

Write an industry report on yum brands such as (Taco Bell, KFC, Pizza Hut, and Wing Street ) with the Specific enterprise analyzed being KFC. Also create a fact sheet and power point based on the written industry report.

Each industry report should include statistical information (Very Important). The common mistake that students made was simply relaying the information from the company without explanation about overall industry.  This is not a promotional report for the specific enterprise. You have to analyze the company based on the third person’s perspective.

Part 1. Overall Industry – The first purpose of this project is for the class to thoroughly review and analyze a variety of hospitality industry.

1. What is the status of the overall industry in the United States?(Provide the industry statistics)- 10 points
2. What are the “keys to success” for a typical enterprise/company within the respective industry? – 10 points
3. What is your opinion of the overall industry’s future? – 5 points

Part 2. Specific Enterprise -Depending on the selected enterprise/industry, the specific questions may vary.

1. Provide a brief explanation about the enterprise/company and the financial information (5 points)
2. Describe “mission statement” for a specific enterprise/company and analyze the mission statement.(5 points)
3. Describe the company’s division and provide organizational charts of the top officers for each department, Directors, Managers and Assistant manager or supervisor. In addition, the names and brief bios of the top officers (if available). (5 points)
4. What is the legal form (type) for the business organization you visited? (5 points) (e.g., Sole Proprietorship, Partnership, etc)
5. Describe the company’s services, sales, and operations (including staffing). Include as much detail as possible. (10 points)
6. What are the employment opportunities and status for full-time staff and management within the overall industry? (i.e., Growth opportunities? Current job listings/salary ranges/number of job availability on Monster.com, Department of Labor, etc?)(5 points)
7. Briefly describe what “differentiates” this business from other businesses within the overall industry. (5 points)
8. Provide a brief description of their general marketing strategy, including the company’s advertising media planning and strategy(10 points)
9. Overall, analyze the company’s strengths, weaknesses and their future viability in consideration of industry trends. (10 points)

Paper Structure

1. Use 12 point times new roman, double spaced, and one-inch margins
2. Include the following headings and subheadings in bold
3. Write a total 7-8 page paper (excluding cover, table of content, references, and appendices)
4. References are required for this report (Formatted using APA stylebook : The report should be based on a minimum of 10 current references (at least 6 out of 10 should include academic journals, books, trade journals, and other credible and trusted sources

Powerpoint and fact sheet Requirements:

• Prepare a 1 full page fact sheet or summary of your report for distribution to each class member.
• Prepare a slide show with images providing insight to your industry/enterprise.
• Provide appropriate references and citations for the supporting documentation. Indicate all direct quotes with appropriate citations and quotation marks. Limit direct quotes to 4 lines or no more than 40 words.

The fact sheet and presentation should include key aspects of your research: (Please include statistical/financial information)

1. Provide an overview of the specific enterprise you investigated.
2. Provide an overview of the corresponding industry.
3. Trends in the industry.
4. Career opportunities in the industry.
