Using the feedback from your instructor on your Draft Capstone Research Project Paper, students during Term 5 will complete the following Assignments:
3.1 Finalize the Capstone Research Project Paper (75 Points) AND
Write a summary of the PowerPoint presentation to organizational leadership/management (10 Points)
3.2 Develop a PowerPoint presentation and present it to organizational leadership/management. The PowerPoint is a summary of the Capstone Research Project Paper (15 Points)
The Final Capstone Research Project Paper will be 30-50 pages in length, using APA format and reference citations.
The PowerPoint Presentation (approximately 20 slides), is a summary of the Project Paper, as presented to a selected group of organizational leaders/managers.The intent of the presentation is to alert this group of your perceptions and data formulated from the Capstone Research Project Paper.
The written Presentation Summary (2-3 paragraphs, no longer than 1 page), includes your analysis of the impact of your PowerPoint Presentation on organizational leadership/management, attendee’s positions in the organization, questions asked, how you, the student responded to these questions/comments, and your self-evaluation of the presentation. Following the Reference List in your Capstone Project Paper, using a page break, title the page PowerPoint Presentation Summary, write your summary of the PowerPoint presentation to leadership/management.
REMINDER:
Because your Presentation Summary is based upon your actual PowerPoint presentation to leadership/management in your organization, you must plan ahead to schedule this presentation prior to when the 3.1 and 3.2 Assignments are due in Term 5. In addition, in order to present the PowerPoint, which is based on your findings in your Capstone Project Research Paper, your Paper will need to be prepared prior to the PowerPoint Presentation. Please make sure you have planned ahead, so you are able to present your PowerPoint and write your Presentation Summary, prior to the due date for the 3.1 assignment.
You will post your 3.1 Capstone Research Project Paper and the PowerPoint Presentation Summary (on a separate page following the Reference List at the end of the Paper) Assignment to the 3.1 Capstone Research Project Paper section in the MHA 680-3 Term 5 Assignment Section. It will appear in the Grade Center where only your instructor will view it. It is due by the last day of Term 5, the same date as the end of your MHA 665 course. REMINDER: Your instructor though, may designate a due date which may be prior to the end of Term 5. Please be aware of this possible designated earlier deadline date for submission.
You will post your 3.2 PowerPoint Presentation Assignment on the MHA 680-3 Term 5 Discussion Board forum, by the last day of Term 5, the same date as the end of your MHA 665 course. REMINDER: Your instructor though, may designate a due date which may be prior to the end of Term 5. Please be aware of this possible designated earlier deadline date for submission.
Your grade for this MHA 680-3 (1 credit) in Term 5, will be a letter grade based on assessment of your MHA 680-3 assignments.
