As a group, hold a discussion on the section below that addresses Technical Design Document. Individual Deliverables
Based on results from your group discussion and other information gathering strategy complete your Technical Design Document. The submission should be a minimum of 1 page.
Section 8 – Technical Design Document
In previous weeks you have identified and documented the system components and requirements. The system was also developed and designed based on the information that was gathered from the clients.
This week you will continue to put all the pieces together. You will leverage the information you have discussion in this week’s group discussion to develop the Technical Design document. Some things to consider when developing your document are:
- How the system and your specific component will be built
- What each aspect of the system will achieve
- Who will use the system
The combined document that will be submitted should include all recommended changes and or any addition to you project. This will provide you with an opportunity to get additional feedback from your professor before the final assignment is submitted.
As a reminder, your Key Assignment Draft will include the following:

- Course number and name
- Project name
- Student name
- Team Number and Members
- Date
- Table of Contents

- Maximum of three levels deep
- Be sure to update the fields of the TOC so it is up-to-date before submitting your project.
